Hatha Yoga is a specialized yoga system developed by Yoga Svatmarama, a 15th century Indian sage and also known as the founder of Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Hatha yoga is said to be a type of yoga which is the "stairway to the heights of Raja yoga", the initial stage of physical cleansing that prepares the body for higher meditation practice.

Practice Of Hatha Yoga For Meditation is a form of yoga that includes moral discipline, physical exercises such as postures, breath control, and meditation. The type of hatha yoga practiced in the west consists mostly of postures and exercises.

This form of yoga represents the opposite energies of hot and cold, male and female, positive and negative. Hatha Yoga seeks to balance the mind and body through movement, controlled breathing, and calming the mind through relaxation and meditation.

It teaches good posture, balance, and strength, and is practiced to improve the physical health of the body, clear the mind, and prepare for meditation. Hatha Yoga is also a part of Ashtanga Yoga, but it can also be practiced separately.

Yoga is a very useful form of exercise for people with certain health problems, including heart disease/high blood pressure, asthma, and back problems. Yoga can be good for your health no matter how old you are, especially if you have heart problems. It is recommended for treating or preventing problems ranging from constipation to cancer, and is known to reduce stress and anxiety.
