How does iCloud Drive work?
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you're already using iCloud Drive. When you open the App Store on your device, for example, the " Updates " tab shows recent updates and purchases from the App Store, as well as photos and videos you've taken with the Camera app.
You can also use iCloud Drive to access files on your devices, including music, books, movies, and TV shows bought from the iTunes Store or rented from iTunes Video.
If you have an iPhone or iPad running iOS 11 or later, you can also use iCloud Drive to store files such as documents, photos, and music. To use iCloud Drive, open Settings on your device and select "iCloud." Under "Documents," for example, select a file to open it in Safari. Files stored in iCloud Drive show up under "Files" in the Finder on your Mac.
