If you're considering buying a high end indoor cycling bike you may have already read a NordicTrack S22i review, but this article may help shed some light on a few things most NordicTrack reviews overlook. The NordicTrack S22i studio cycle is a good exercise bike and it has a lot of good things going for it, but the new model doesn't have a power switch on it. According to the NordicTrack S22i review from TailHappyTV the only way to get the screen to turn off is to unplug it from the wall. Matt points out many people simply add a switch between the plug and the wall to make this process more convenient, but it does not negate the fact that power will be cut to the entire NordicTrack S22i studio cycle which requires the machine to boot back up before using it again. This process only takes a few minutes, but on a $2,000 indoor bike you'd think a simple power button to turn off the NordicTrack S22i would be included.

TailHappyTV also points out another flaw of this Peloton bike alternative in his NordicTrack S22i review with regards to the on screen training tools. There is no FTP test on the NordicTrack S22i studio cycle, so serious cyclists won't be able to see there functional threshold power on the screen of the NordicTrack bike when following iFit classes on the 22 inch screen. Of course the bike does show you your power output as well as cadence, but without FTP displayed on the screen it's kind of like driving your car without a gasoline gauge to see how much energy you have left in the tank and whether or not your pace on the bike is sustainable or not. These are just two minor flaws of this indoor bicycle TailHappyTV points out in his NordicTrack S22i review, you can see the full video on his YouTube channel if you'd like to learn more about this Peloton alternative before you spend two grand on the machine.
